Yours Truly

Well like the domain name of this blog states, I am Jessica Welch. 🙂  I decided to start a blog because I like to write, but I am the type of person that needs a reason to do something.  I figured, even if no one else reads it or gains anything from it, blogging will be good for my brain.  And fun to go back and read someday.  Not to mention maybe it will help me spend less time on social media.  I thought about starting a “mom” blog since I am a new mom as of Nov 2013.  But I realized there is more to my life than just being a mom that I would want to write about.  So I decided to just have this be a place for my thoughts in various areas of my life.  I don’t know how often I will post but when I do, I want to try to hit on one of the following areas: my relationship with God, my relationship with my husband, the role of being a mother, and since I love to work out and eat, might as well talk about those too!
